A two-hour practice: weaving Somatic Movement and Yin Yoga
We begin with somatic movement. Slow, investigative floor work.
We ask the body one question at a time.
Where are you holding?
What happens when you stop?
What is the quality of sensation?
Somatic Movement comes from the natural intelligence of the body, this workshop helps us listen, slow down, notice and then move from those places.
It’s not stretching, and it is not strengthening.
From there we move to the floor and into deeper Yin postures. Long holds, fascia release, stillness.
The somatic work opens connection; the yin allows us to align.
Together they form a two-hour practice of realignment, release and unravelling.
No prior experience with Somatic Work or Yin Yoga is needed.
