Hot Yoga is yogafusion’s signature offering, a Hatha-based practice taught in a purposefully heated room. Classes combine strength, mobility, balance and breath awareness through a carefully structured sequence of postures. Suitable for both new and experienced students, Hot Yoga offers a challenging and rewarding practice that develops over time.
Our Hot Yoga classes at yogafusion combines purposeful heat with a structured Hatha-based practice. The warm room can help students move more comfortably into postures while providing a physically engaging class that develops strength, mobility, balance and concentration. Many students enjoy the focused environment and the opportunity to step away from the distractions of daily life for the duration of the class.
Hot Yoga combines physical challenge with focused attention. Classes encourage students to coordinate movement and breathing while working through a sequence of standing, balancing and floor-based postures. The heated environment adds intensity to the practice and often requires students to remain present and attentive throughout the class.
If you’re new to Hot Yoga, it’s normal to find the room warm and the practice challenging at first. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace, take breaks when needed and gradually adapt to the environment.
We recommend arriving well hydrated, bringing a towel and wearing comfortable clothing suitable for movement. Beginners are welcome, and modifications can be offered throughout the class.
Unlike Warm Vinyasa Flow, which emphasizes flowing movement and breath-synchronized sequences in a mildly heated environment; Hot Yoga keeps the room warmer, encouraging deeper stretches and stronger cardiovascular work. While Vinyasa focuses on fluidity and poses being linked together, Hot Yoga prioritizes alignment, endurance, and strength under sustained warmth.
Compared to Slow Power Flow Yoga, which slows down familiar Vinyasa and Hot Yoga-inspired sequences to focus on control, repetition, and refined movement; Hot Yoga maintains a more continuous and physically demanding pace in a heated environment. While Slow Power Flow prioritizes precision, awareness, and learning how the body moves through repetition, Hot Yoga emphasises endurance, intensity, and sustained effort through continuous practice.
Different to Yin Yoga, which is slow-paced and targets deep connective tissues with long-held stretches; Hot Yoga is energizing and dynamic. Yin emphasizes release and stillness, while Hot Yoga builds stamina, focus and internal heat throughout the class.
While Bikram Yoga follows the same sequence of 26 postures in every class, Hot Yoga at yogafusion uses a more flexible approach. Classes draw on a broad range of postures and movement patterns, allowing teachers to vary sequencing, emphasis and themes while maintaining the strength, focus and challenge associated with practising in a heated room.
Whether you're looking to challenge your body, increase flexibility, or detoxify in a focused, heated environment, Hot Yoga at yogafusion offers a unique practice distinct from our other classes.
