Yin Tonics Masterclass

The Deep Exhale for Winter organ health.

Sunday, June 28 at 1pm

Join Mel McLaughlin for one of her signature YIN TONIC™ Masterclasses — a deeply nourishing winter practice designed to support rest, restoration, and energetic balance during the colder months.

This special extended workshop combines the grounding stillness of Yin Yoga with elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupressure, breath awareness, and gentle Myofascial Release (MFR) techniques to help calm the nervous system and replenish depleted energy.

What to Expect in This Yin Tonics Masterclass

Under the umbrella of a deep and juicy Yin practice, you’ll be guided through long-held poses that encourage softness, surrender, and spaciousness within both body and mind. Along the way, Mel will weave in TCM philosophy and seasonal wisdom, exploring how winter relates to the Kidney and Bladder meridians — the organ systems associated with energy reserves, resilience, rest, and restoration.

Throughout the masterclass, we will also explore:

  • Acupressure points along key meridian pathways to support energetic flow and organ health
  • Gentle self-massage and light MFR techniques to release tension and improve circulation
  • Breath practices and mindfulness to encourage the “deep exhale” — letting go of excess stress, effort, and fatigue
  • Ways to align with the slower rhythm of winter and cultivate the “correct” Qi for the season

Expect a calming, grounding, and meditative experience that invites you to slow down, turn inward, and deeply rest.
