Frequently Asked Questions
What are prenatal, postnatal and baby yoga classes?
Our prenatal, postnatal and baby yoga classes are designed to support you through pregnancy, recovery after birth and the early stages of parenthood. These classes focus on movement, connection, strength, relaxation and creating a supportive community for parents and babies.
Can I use the pass for both prenatal, postnatal & baby yoga?
Yes. Our prenatal, postnatal & baby yoga passes are designed to support you through both pregnancy and your journey after birth. The same pass can be used for eligible prenatal and postnatal classes, giving you flexibility as your needs change throughout this stage of life.
When can I start prenatal yoga?
Prenatal yoga can be suitable throughout pregnancy, depending on your individual circumstances and how you’re feeling. Many people begin during their second trimester, while others continue a modified yoga practice throughout their pregnancy. If you have any concerns, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before starting.
Is prenatal yoga safe for beginners?
Absolutely. You don’t need previous yoga experience to join our prenatal classes. Our teachers guide you through movements that are suitable for pregnancy and encourage you to listen to your body and practise at a pace that feels right for you.
What are the benefits of prenatal yoga?
Prenatal yoga can help support strength, mobility, relaxation and body awareness during pregnancy. It can also provide a valuable opportunity to slow down, connect with your body and meet other expecting parents in a welcoming environment.
When can I start postnatal yoga after having a baby?
Everyone’s recovery is different, so the right time to return to movement depends on your birth experience and how your body is feeling. We recommend checking in with your healthcare provider or medical professional before beginning postnatal exercise. Our postnatal classes are designed to support you through a gentle, gradual return to movement, with a focus on rebuilding strength, mobility and connection after birth.
Can I bring my baby to postnatal yoga?
Yes. Our baby yoga classes are designed to allow you to practise alongside your baby in a relaxed and supportive environment. Classes provide an opportunity to move, connect and enjoy time together while meeting other parents.
Do I need to have done yoga before pregnancy?
Not at all. Our prenatal and postnatal yoga classes are suitable for all experience levels, including complete beginners. Our teachers will support you through each stage of your practice.
What happens if my baby needs feeding, changing or settling during class?
That’s completely normal and expected. Baby yoga classes are designed to be flexible and welcoming, and you’re encouraged to care for your baby whenever needed during the class.
